On April 21, 2026, KLC Energy (a member of KLC Group) attended the seminar “Green Energy Transition – A Drive For Sustainable Growth,” organized in Ho Chi Minh City by Tuoi Tre News in collaboration with the Packaging Recycling Organization Vietnam (PRO Vietnam) and relevant agencies.
The event gathered nearly 200 delegates, including representatives from regulatory authorities such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade, HCMC People’s Committee, domestic and FDI energy enterprises, as well as leading experts in energy and sustainable development. The seminar served as a forum to exchange solutions for accelerating the energy transition, aiming for green growth and sustainable development in Vietnam.
The seminar also marked the launch of the “Green Vietnam 2026” program—an initiative dedicated to promoting the green transition, driving sustainable economic growth tied to environmental protection, and enhancing the quality of life.

Discussing solutions to accelerate the energy transition
At the seminar, delegates focused their discussions on key areas such as the energy transition roadmap, the development of renewable energy sources, the application of new technologies, and the refinement of policy mechanisms to support businesses participating in the green transition process.
There was a strong consensus among attendees that the energy transition has become an inevitable global trend. It plays a critical role in enhancing the economy’s competitive edge while simultaneously reducing emissions and protecting the environment. Given the escalating energy demand in major metropolitan areas like Ho Chi Minh City, the development of sustainable energy infrastructure is considered an urgent requirement in the upcoming period.
Especially against the backdrop of Ho Chi Minh City’s exceptionally high energy consumption, advancing sustainable infrastructure, clean energy, and electric mobility has now emerged as a critical and pressing imperative.
